All-American Watch Lists

About the All-American GSA Watch Lists

The Global Soccer Analytics (GSA) All-American Watch List is a projection-based evaluation tool, not a final awards ballot. It identifies players with a projected likelihood of All-American-level impact for the upcoming season based on verified performance and forward-looking analytics.

Inclusion Criteria

Players are included only if they:

  • Are rostered and NCAA-eligible for the upcoming season.
  • Have demonstrated performance consistent with conference-level or national-level recognition (e.g., All-Conference, major awards).
  • Or, via analytical identification, project to All-American-level impact based on role value, usage, efficiency, and influence.

Dynamic Evaluation

Rankings are organized by defined on-field roles, such as:

GSA Watch Lists are not static. Players may be added, removed, or re-graded throughout the season based on updated performance data, role changes, team context, injuries, and ongoing analytical evaluation.

About the GSA Grade

Lists are dynamic and may be updated only for confirmed reasons:

Each player receives a GSA Grade (0–100) representing their projected likelihood of All-American recognition. Grades reflect on-field production, role difficulty, conference context, consistency, and trajectory—and are subject to change as new information becomes available.

Our Methodology

The All-American Watch List is built from GSA’s All-Conference Watch Lists, which serve as the primary eligibility gate. In limited cases, players may be added via analytical identification when performance and role impact project national-level recognition, ensuring the list reflects both recognized achievement and emerging relevance.
